Q. Do you ship to Canadian and International Addresses?

A. Due to the Canada Post workers strike, we are not able to ship to Canada in 2024. We will ship to other International addresses by International Priority or International Priority Express mail ONLY according to the dates listed below in "How much is shipping?". Any orders placed to Canada or Internationally using free shipping will not be accepted and you will be contacted for the correct shipping costs or to cancel your order. (See pricing below.) We offer international shipping only for a limited time during the season in order to ensure that the letters will arrive before Christmas. Selecting USA ONLY Priority Mail shipping options, when sending letters to International destinations will delay or cancel your order.


Q. When will the letter that I've ordered arrive?

A. ALL letters and packages ordered BEFORE Thanksgiving will be sent AFTER the Thanksgiving holiday. We do not mail letters before Thanksgiving.


After Thanksgiving:

In most cases, each letter is shipped within 72 - 96 hours of your order. Letters can reach their destination in as few as 2 days though it could take 8-12 days. Please note that given the extra busy workload on the United States Postal Service (USPS) during the holiday season, we cannot give you an exact date when your letter will arrive.

You will receive an email confirmation when your letter(s) are released to the USPS for shipping. If you don't receive your letter(s) within 10 days from the shipping date/notification, you MUST let us know immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: Most orders will be processed within 72 - 96 hours and then placed into the US Postal Service mail stream for delivery.

When checking out, you have the option of adding additional USPS services (such as Priority Mail or Priority Express Mail) that give you the ability to track your order within the United States. We recommend that you order one of these services if you'd like to follow your order to delivery.


PLEASE NOTE that letters in the same order that are addressed to multiple children at the SAME ADDRESS will be sent together in a larger envelope to ensure that all the kids in the same household get their letter from Santa at the same time! Please make sure you include letters going to the same address in the same order. 

 

Q. When is the last day that I can order?

A. The last day for ordering a LETTER FROM SANTA is:

 

To addresses in the UNITED STATES: December 10, 2024 (Orders received after Dec 10 will require priority mail shipping handling at an extra fee)

To addresses in CANADA: No Shipping due to postal strike

To addresses INTERNATIONALLY: November 30, 2024 (See below for shipping costs)

Q. I'm ordering a letter for more than one child. Will they get the same letter?

A. No. Santa customizes each letter for each child. Be sure that you place your order for all of the letters at one time (in the same order) and provide custom, unique information for each of the letters. That way we can be sure to keep the order together and guarantee that each child will receive an equally unique and specialized letter. We cannot promise that letters will arrive together if they are not placed at the same time in the same order.

Q. I'm having trouble customizing a letter and wondering if something's wrong with my computer?

A. It's possible you are having a browser issue. We find that Google Chrome works best.  You can download and install Chrome using this link: https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

 

Q. Do I need to create an account?

A. To place an order, you indeed need to create an account. This allows you to sign in to view letters you have saved, check out your shopping cart, and view orders you have placed. Creating an account also keeps your information secure. We recommend that you log in right away before customizing any letters. 

 

Q. How do I log in to my account if I have forgotten my password?

A. Our site now allows you to log into your account using your Google or Facebook. As an alternative, you can also reset your SantaSentMeALetter.com password. From the homepage, click on Login from the menu bar at the top of the page. Click on "Reset password." From the Password Reset screen, enter your email address to have a new temporary password emailed to you. You can then use the password that is sent to you to access your account. Note about the temporary password... you should only use the letters or numbers emailed to you and NOT include the period (".") that may appear after the password.

 

Q. How do I save a letter so I can edit it later?

A. Once you have begun to customize a letter and you have updated your preview at least once, you will be able to save that letter for further editing later. On the lower right corner of the letter you are customizing, click the "Save for Later" button to save your work for a later session.

You will need to log in in order to return later. Only when you are logged in will the "Saved" option be available on the top menu bar of the homepage. Once you click on "Saved," you will go to the "Saved for Later" page where you can "Continue Design" or "Remove" your letters in progress.

 

Q. How do I edit a letter I have already placed in my Shopping Cart?

A. To update a letter that you've already placed in your Shopping Cart, go to your Shopping Cart. Next to each letter you have the option to "Edit," "Duplicate," or "Save for Later." You will also have a red box with a trash can to "Remove" and DELETE your item. Clicking on "Edit" will take you back to the sample letter; by then clicking on "PERSONALIZE THIS LETTER," you will be able to see and edit all the customizing you have already done. It's still there. You just have to click on "PERSONALIZE THIS LETTER."

 

Q. What do the envelopes look like?

Single letters arrive in an envelope addressed from Santa Claus. Packages sent with multiple letters, a Magic Key, or to International destinations (including Canada) will be sent in a discrete larger envelope. All items inside will still be postmarked from the North Pole.

 

Q. Is the letter postmarked from the North Pole?

A. Each letter is postmarked with a custom, one-of-a-kind North Pole Postmark.

 

Q. Will the letter have a wax seal?

A. Every letter is sealed with a unique wax seal. Please note, however, that while we mail each letter with the wax seal in place, processing by the United States Postal Service sometimes results in the wax seal being stripped from the envelope. Due to this sometimes unforeseen circumstance, we cannot guarantee that letters will arrive with the seal.

Q. How much is shipping?

A. SantaSentMeALetter.com uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) to send Santa's letters.

TO ADDRESSES IN THE UNITED STATES: Standard shipping is free until December 6 and takes approximately 8-12 days. From December 7 until December 10, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express must be used for all US destinations.

For domestic letters (USA only), should you wish to receive your Letters from Santa quicker, you may choose US Priority Mail (approx. 2-4 days - after we process the letters - with tracking included; please note that the actual length of time of delivery is not guaranteed by the United States Postal Service. This is an estimate and can take longer, especially over the holidays) for $12.95 per address or US Priority Express Mail (approx. 1-3 days - after we process the letters - with tracking included) for $30.75 per address. Note that all letters ordered before Thanksgiving are sent out right after the Thanksgiving holiday even if you choose Priority or Priority Express mail when ordering

TO ADDRESSES IN CANADA:
We no longer offer Free Shipping to Canada due to unreliable delivery times between the United States Postal Service and Canada Post. International Priority Mail or International Priority Mail Express may be used until December 6 for all Canadian destinations. International Priority Mail (approx. 6-10 days - after we process the letters - with tracking) is available for $34.55 per address and International Priority Express Mail (approx. 4-6 days - after processing the letters - with tracking) is available for $55.00 per address.

TO ADDRESSES INTERNATIONALLY: International Standard Shipping is not available for addresses outside of the United States. International Priority Mail or International Priority Mail Express may be used until November 30. International Priority Mail (approx. 6-10 days - after we process the letters - with tracking) is available for $45.00 per address and International Priority Express Mail (approx. 4-6 days - after we process the letters - with tracking) is available for $70.00 per address.

 

Any orders placed to Canada or Internationally using free shipping will not be accepted and you will be contacted for the correct shipping costs or to cancel your order.

The mail transit times we indicate here are those provided by the USPS; all delivery times are subject to change based on USPS operations. For tracking within the United States, please note that we only have the ability to track letters domestically if you elect to send via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express.

Q. I am sending letters to two addresses and I want to send them all by Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express... but I can only apply this shipping to one address when checking out. What do I do?

A. You can either let us know in the notes field and we will be in touch to process the postage for the additional address(s), or we will contact you when we see you have only paid Priority shipping for one address.

 

Q. What types of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover online.

 

Q. I have a promotional code. Where do I enter it?

A. You will be prompted to enter your promotional code on the Checkout page in the order summary.

 

Q. Do you have a money back guarantee?

A. Yes. Although it seldom occurs, if you are displeased with our product or service, we will refund 100% of your purchase price. In certain circumstances, you may be required to return the letter to us in order to receive a refund.

 

Q. Will I get a confirmation for my order?

A. Yes. You will receive an email receipt for your order. Please remember that we handle your information very carefully to guard your privacy. All of the information we receive is handled by real people and can take some time to process. You should feel comfortable communicating with us by phone or email as we always welcome your input!
